Designing a Modern and Vibrant Workspace

The inspiration for this project stems from the company's brand identity and management spirit. The design team aimed to create open workspaces that reflect the nature of the Iffco group, which specializes in mass-market food products and related derivatives and services. The result is a modernized authentic design that captures the essence of the Egyptian soul and spirit.

One of the standout features of the Iffco Egypt Head Office is the incorporation of Egyptian coins as art installations on the walls. These coins are arranged vertically and horizontally, creating Egyptianized motifs that pay homage to ancient Egyptian art. This unique element adds a touch of history and cultural significance to the workspace.

Mona Hussein Design House utilized a meticulous design process to bring this vision to life. Starting with the concept phase, creative ideas and furniture layout options were explored to meet the client's requirements. The team then moved on to the schematic phase, developing these ideas into 3D rendered shots with carefully selected materials, furniture, and fixtures. After receiving client approval, the design development phase commenced, providing detailed specifications, dimensions, and installation details. A comprehensive Bill of Quantities (BOQ) was also submitted for finishing materials and furniture selections.

The Iffco Egypt Head Office boasts several technical specifications that enhance its functionality and aesthetics. Sound-insulating materials were strategically used throughout the space to create a conducive working environment. Acoustic wool above the ceiling, Forbo flotex carpets in the workspaces, and Knauf VIDI walls gypsum fiber boards with sound absorption properties all contribute to a comfortable and productive atmosphere. Fire-resistant gypsum board was specified in the false ceiling design, ensuring safety and compliance.

The design team also prioritized maintaining a bright and comfortable feel in the workspace. The ceiling height was maximized, allowing for ample natural light to flood the area. This, combined with the carefully selected colors and materials, creates a modern and inviting ambiance.

The Iffco Egypt Head Office successfully fulfills the client's requirements for a modern, simple, and functional workspace. With its unique blend of Egyptian heritage and contemporary design, it stands as a testament to the creativity and ingenuity of Mona Hussein Design House.
